Terms & Conditions

These terms explain how Howdall Interiors provides its services and supplies goods to you.

1. Information about us

We are Howdall Interiors Ltd, registered in England and Wales.
Company registration number: 15895092
Registered office: 14 Langdale Grove, Selby, YO8 9BQ
Workshop: Harrogate, North Yorkshire
You can contact us at jack@howdallinteriors.co.uk

2. How we work

After your initial enquiry, we’ll provide an estimate or design proposal. Once you confirm you’re happy to proceed, we’ll issue an initial invoice. The contract between you and Howdall Interiors begins when that first invoice is issued.
If you choose not to proceed after receiving your proposal, there’s no obligation on either side.

3. Our process

We follow a straightforward five-step process:

  1. Send photos for a quick estimate – share your space and ideas.

  2. Survey & bespoke design – after your deposit, we create a detailed plan.

  3. Workshop build – your furniture is made in our Harrogate workshop.

  4. Installation – completed within one to two days on site.

  5. Final payment on completion – your project is finished.

4. Payment
  • A deposit is required before materials are ordered or workshop production begins.

  • The remaining balance is due on completion of installation unless otherwise agreed.

  • We may charge interest at 4% above the Bank of England base rate on late payments.

5. Goods and materials

All items are made to order. Materials and finishes may vary slightly from samples or photos. Wood is a natural product, and variation in grain and tone is normal.
Ownership of all goods remains with Howdall Interiors until full payment is received.

6. Site access and preparation

You are responsible for ensuring the site is ready and accessible for delivery and installation. Any additional visits or delays caused by access or preparation issues may result in extra charges.

7. Cancellations

As all pieces are custom-made, once production has started you cannot cancel the order or request a refund unless agreed otherwise in writing.

8. If something goes wrong

If you believe there’s an issue with the goods or installation, please contact us within 7 days of completion. We’ll inspect and, if appropriate, repair or replace the affected item.
We are not liable for damage caused by misuse, normal wear, or work carried out by other trades after installation.

9. Delays and external factors

We are not responsible for delays caused by factors beyond our control (e.g. supplier delays, illness, extreme weather). If such events occur, we’ll inform you and agree a new timeline.

10. Legal rights

These terms do not affect your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by English law. Any disputes will be handled by the courts of England and Wales.
